My name is Laura Redenbaugh, and I am the practice manager. I have been working at Hanover Veterinary Hospital for almost 27 years. I have lived in Cedar Lake for 30 years, where I raised two children, Miranda and Alex. I currently live with my German Shepherd, Stryder. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and church, and traveling.
Hey y'all! My name is Aubree Dieck, and I have been in vet med for a little over four years now. I will graduate in December 2024 from Purdue University's Veterinary Nursing Program.
Hi, my name is Aero Evans. I have been in vet med for three years. At home, I share my house with a mix of dogs and cats. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing.
Amy has been drawn to animals and animal care since she was a child, which prompted her mom's warning of “Do Not Bring Any Animals Home” whenever she left the house. Amy started at Hanover Veterinary Hospital in June of 1997 as a Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Attendant, and Receptionist. She earned her Registered Veterinary Technician degree from Purdue in 2001. Amy’s favorite part of working in the veterinary field is being able to calm and comfort fearful or sick pets, as well as caring for surgery patients post-op. In her free time, Amy loves spending time with her family and pets, riding motorcycles with her husband, volunteering at a wildlife rescue and rehab, reading, and enjoying nature.
Hi, my name is Melvina, but the guys here call me Mel. I'm one of the old G's here. I have been in vet med for 25 years and love every minute of it. I take great pride in helping animals and their owners. My passion for this started at five years old when I nursed a wounded kitten back to health with the help of my mom, and I still continue to this day.
Hi, my name is Jessie. I have been in the industry for over eight years. There is not a creature on this earth that I don’t have a soft spot for. I like plants, coffee, and little critters.
Hi, my name is Haley. I have worked in vet med for about three years and have been at Hanover Veterinary Hospital for three months. I love my job here and all the furry friends I've made. My hobbies outside of work are painting and reading. A new hobby I’ve been able to enjoy is decorating a nursery. I am a very excited mama-to-be!
Hi, my name is Kelly. I’ve been working at Hanover Veterinary Hospital for four years. I have a special interest in behavioral medicine and training, as well as the benefits of using Fear Free methods in veterinary settings. I have four rescue dogs at home, and when I’m not at work, you can usually find me out walking them.
Hi, my name is Carla. I have worked in vet med for 10+ years and have been with Hanover for the last three years. I have always had a love for animals, and at home, I share my house with my husband, two kids, and an array of cats and dogs, one of whom is Riggins, the Husky/French Bulldog mix who is so well known in Hanover. In my free time, you’ll catch me on the softball field coaching my daughter.
Hi, my name is Amy. This is my second year in vet med. At home, I have a Sphynx (Bronx), a bottle-fed foster failure (Zara), and a Bulldog mix (Hank), who you may often see up front at Hanover. When I'm not at work, I enjoy cooking and gardening.
Hi, my name is April, and I grew up on a farm where my love and passion for animals all began. I’ve worked in vet med for over 35 years, but my true passion is orthopedics. I enjoy training and encouraging the younger generation in all aspects of vet medicine. I’ve owned and trained dogs for almost my entire life. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my animals and family. I also recently started performing home pet euthanasias with a fellow doctor to provide comfort, respect, and peace to the pets and owners who deserve it.
Hi, my name is Wiebke. I am a vet technician from Germany, and this is my 40th year in vet med. I started in animal husbandry (sheep, goats, pigs, etc.), and at the same time, I began attending vet tech school. I worked at the University of Lübeck, which I graduated from after five years. Next, I worked at a local hospital until I got married and had my son, Phil. When my son was old enough, I returned to work at another animal hospital and met my second husband, Chad. We then moved to India, where I performed TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) for 3 ½ years. Afterward, we moved to the USA, where I had to learn English. It wasn’t easy, but I was determined. I then started at Crown Point Animal Hospital and began working at Hanover Veterinary Hospital in 2012, where I have grown within my role. I now live in Crown Point with my husband, Chad, my 4-year-old coonhound, Meg, and my 19-year-old cat, Connie. I am a huge hound lover and have owned bloodhounds and beagles. Outside of work, I enjoy being a mother, stepmother, and grandmother to five wonderful grandkids.
